The Black Ace Chronicles Episode 2 "The Golden Buddha"

Time : 28 May · 09:30 - 17:00
Location : Redbarn Dublin
Prcie : €25

Factions :
U.S. Marines Olive Drab/Tigerstripe
V.C. Black with optional vietnamese hats ☺
S.O.G. team (studies and observations group) Any camo
This is a Vietnam War era game so we ask you to gear up as close to the era as you can , BUT no need to go buy new stuff...Improvise.
Also we need to know your preference for which side you would like to roleplay, as we need to keep it reaonably balanced.

The two main factions will be divided up into squads. Each squad will comprise of a Squad Leader, Medic and a radio man and the rest are rifflemen.
Comms in this story are strictly limited to the radio man.

Rules :

Ammo Limits
300 rounds per player at any one time (unlimited reloads)
2,500 Rounds per support gunner (onlt 2 support guns per faction and must be actual support guns, RPK, 249, M60 etc)
50 rounds per sniper and 50 rounds for backup pistol etc.

Reload must be at your base and you must sit out for 5 minutes , if just reloading.

Hits:
Each faction will have 4 medics. Medics will have a limited number of bandages on them.
When hit a player must call hit and for a medic. Each player has a bleed out time of 5 minutes. If he does not receive medical aid in this time he must return to his regen point where he must wait a further 5 minutes before rejoining the game.
If he receives medical aid he is free to rejoin the game once he has his bandage on.
After receiving a bandage , the next time a player is hit he is automatically dead and must return to regen and wait for 5 minutes, before rejoining the game.

As stated before this is a limited number event and preference is given to those who played in part 1 up in Tigerland. Places are nearly full for this already, so don't delay.

Return to Home Ground

I'd like to announce that as of from the 5th Feb 2011 we will be returning to our home ground site in Templehouse.

I'd like to thank the owners of Temple House for accommodating us through the Shooting Season with the use of the temporary site. It worked out really well with different gaming zones for our club to enjoy but it will also be great to return to the Woodland where we feel most at home. If you have any questions regarding the location please see details here on our website or you can chat to us on our Facebook Group page located here

Winter Airsoft

We've had a fantastic start to the New Year with players traveling from all over the country to take part in our first day back in 2011. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our members & visitors for making Tigerland what it is because without you the players with your support, enthusiasm and  loyalty it would be just any other site.

Tigerland The Black Ace Chronicles episode 1 "The River" Sept 25th 2010

The Rules

Loadouts

Marines :
Any green BDU, preferably OD green, Tigerstripe, US woodland but if you don't have any of these just try go as green as possible.

VC : Any Black BDU or TAN BDU or you can have a mix of both

Rules

Each faction will be broke up into 6 man squads comprising of

squad leader
Communications officer
Medic
riflemen x3 (only one support gun or sniper per squad)

Communications officer will be the only person with the capability to rely information to other squads and back to command. I would advise that everyone who has comms to bring them on the day in order that we have enough communications.

The final decision regarding the movement and tactics of a squad will fall to the Squad leader. The Squad leaders will be clearly marked with a red or blue band this is in keeping with the realism of the game as most squad leaders were continuously subject to sniper fire and often marked for capture and interrogation.

Medic Rules

Once a player is shot for the first time he may be administered first aid by any squad member this signifies a minor wound. Each squad member will be allocated a white bandage for this purpose. A player may use the wounded players bandage or his own at this point.

Once a player is shot for the Second time he may only be administered first aid by a medic, this signifies a major wound. The wounded player will only have a 3min bleed out time, in which he may call for a medic.
Please not that at this time he may not :

move from the position he was shot in into cover
he may not call out positions of the enemy or converse with team mates
he may only call for a medic
he cannot return covering fire to assist a medics approach.

The medic is the only member of the squad who carries more that one bandage, he will be allocated 5. Once he has used his full allocation he must make his way to a FMP to re-stock and sign out another 5.

in the case of a bleed out the player must return to an FMP where they will take another 3min penalty before returning to the game.

ANY PLAYER HIT MAYBE TAKEN AS A POW this is done by the enemy getting to the wounded player (within any bleed out time) and tapping him on the arm or shoulder and telling him "you are now a prisoner of war" the wounded player must then follow.

you may not use any physical force of any kind while taking a prisoner you may not disarm the prisoner, you may however ask them to remove the magazine from their weapon which they must do.

FMP (forward medical post)

rules of the forward medical post
Each FMP must first be located and then secured, there will be a red and blue flag located at each FMP. Once a squad has secured the FMP they will place their alucated coloured flag into position. This signifies that the FMP is theirs. If their are wounded enemy players in the FMP they must relocate to another FMP held by their faction.

The Village

the rules of the village are as follows
Marines may not engage any Vietnamese in the village unless a weapon aka a rifle is clearly visible. When questioning villagers marines must assume they are none hostile.

Vietnamese players who do not follow this role for example shouting out "VC number one" completely out of character in the presents of the marines in the village may be taken prisoner, questioned and then executed.
remember villagers where humble and submissive.

Ammo limits

600 rounds per life for a rifle man
support gun one full box per life
sniper may carry 600 rounds split between rifle and sidearm.

Reloading may take place in your designated base of operations or an FMP point but note if FMP is lost to the enemy you may not reload their until you regain the position. You may also not lift your ammunition out of the FMP if you are are a wounded player asked to relocate.

I hope I've covered everything here but feel free to post up any additional questions you may have

Warlords Postponement

Warlords Postponement

I have been asked to post this statement on behalf of Take Aim and the organisers of Warlords Episode 3. Due to the fact, that this episode of Warlord will possibly be the last episode taking place in Ireland before it travels to England and the US, Take Aim have decided to postpone the event until the weekend of the 17th July 2010. This decision was made in order to accommodate the many email and phone requests received from players with prior comments this weekend who had taken part in Episode 1 & 2 and who have supported the Warlord saga from its conception. We would also like to take this opportunity to apologizes for any inconvenience caused to the many teams
and individuals booked in this weekend and hope to see you on the 17th.
